Christmas is coming!

And I'm not ready!  Trying to get ready for fifteen extra people is mindboggling, especially for a clutter bug like I am.  Trying though.

One of my sisters arrived two days ago and a second yesterday.  We attended the kennel club Christmas party last night for tons of fun.  My sisters, Caroline and Katy, fit right in!  More people arrive this weekend and Monday and Tuesday from Hawaii, New York, Bellingham and Indiana!  Wow!  Are we gonna have fun or what?!!!!!!

The babies are about as sweet as they can be now.  They run to my lap for floor time.  They run and jump on all of the equipment on the kitchen floor.  What daredevils!  What sweet babies.  What wonderful puppy breath!  How lucky can one curmudgeon get?!!!

So, I hope that everyone is going to have as much fun for Christmas as I am.  Merry Christmas and I'll smell puppy breath for you every day!

Growly, barky, rascally babies! They must be Border Terriers! Or ARE they?!!!!

So, you have most of the story of the week from the pictures.

There are people who want puppies coming this weekend to drool.  Maybe they will also help socialize puppies.  Mr. Boo is coming again and I am hoping that there is a bit of time when it isn't raining that the puppies can play outside.  The nine will stay at my house now and learn to climb on wobbly things, climb different textures, explore noises and mirrors and metal and wood and rock, etc.  They will end up being well rounded hunters of fun.  I'm afraid that they may all learn to sit as a group this weekend even if they are going to go into the show ring!  Waaa say some who will be taking them into the show ring.  Oh well, get over it!

Well, hopefully I'll get lots of pictures this weekend.  Fingers crossed for the cross curmudgeon!

Can't keep up!!!

The little rascals aren't so little any more!  They now have teeth and are letting me know that they do!  So far they are gentle, soon they won't be.
They are on the floor every day now, but, until today just in the livingroom in front of their pen.  Today they took a foray into the kitchen and didn't stay much on the cloth on the floor.  The BIG thing though was the extra dog in there, Bryce, the four month old, the berserk adolescent!  He was beside himself and you will see that in the pictures below.  The wild eye, the big paw.  He was pretty gentle despite himself.  Sweet.  They will play well together soon.
Francie's pups are sweet and fat and sweet even more.  They aren't ready for the slippery floor yet, but will be in about five or six days.
Did I tell you that they are also wagging their tails?  It is heartwarming to see.
OK, you say, ENOUGH OF THE GIBBERISH!  PICTURES!!!!!
OK, say I.  Pictures!

Froggie got left out this time except in the big pictures.
More soon.

Thank goodness for puppies!!! Thanksgivukkah tomorrow

The skies are blue for today and tomorrow and the old curmudgeon is getting better from a horrid bug.  Thank goodness!

Pip's brats are growing up.  They now growl, and this morning attacked PIP'S food!!!!  That gave Pip a bit of motivation to eat her own food, even though the babies were probably only smelling it!

Francie's puppies are just now opening their eyes.  Sweet little fat babies.  Francie is wondering when she can wean them and have her cushy life back being an only child!!!  I told Nancy that Francie WILL be groomed when she comes to my house!

Happy Thanksgivukkah!  From the Curmudgeon and the Elwha Pack
