Another Visit (and post) by Betty and Skip

For those that do not know, my Bonny tricked all of us - including Charlotte - into thinking she was having puppies.  We decided something was wrong when no birth happened at 65 days, so Bonny visited the vet.  Surprise!  She was not actually pregnant, in spite of putting on weight and showing other symptoms of pregnancy.  Sweet girl got lots of spoiling out of those 9 weeks!  So as our household has no babies, we had to go once again and visit the next best thing!

The Touille/Beau litter is as close of a mix of my two girls genes that you can get.  Bonny and Zinger are both great dogs! Touille is Zinger's mom and Beau is Bonny's brother and litter mate.  Therefore, Skip and I are especially interested in watching this particular litter grow up.

These pups are adventuresome, curious, handsome/beautiful, and super loving! They see a lap and they all stream over to hop on it!  They are 6 weeks old now and are fast becoming little dogs-not just baby pups.

Took some videos again to share with you.

We helped Charlotte take all seven out to the play yard.  I believe it was the pups second day going outside. Charlotte  is just beginning to train "come when called".  It's nice to share how she does it.  All Charlotte's pups learn to come to her whistle at an early age.  My girls still respond to that whistle even though they only visit!

These seven were all over...exploring, pulling and running.  They are so cute when they run!  However, it is very difficult to capture on video.  This was the best example out of 14 short videos.

The kitchen is filled with  lots of things the puppies can climb that teeter back and forth and that roll on wheels.  It helps teach body awareness, helps with balance and teaches the pups not to be afraid when things move under their feet.  It helps them take risks, of a sort. Good for all but especially for those future Agility dogs!

Charlotte has just added a the Bosu ball as a new challenge for the pups.  Their little bodies are just getting big enough to get up there.  I bet that by next week, they will be climbing up with out a problem.

Well that's it for this week!  I have promised Charlotte I will teach her to add videos for future blogs but it will have to wait until we both have some time to sit down together.  So for now, I am delighted to help out with some action footage!  Enjoy.

Respectfully submitted, Betty
